I had that interview today :fear:

I was sitting in the library earlier, and it was one of those times where my mind absolutely refused to settle. You know the type; Where you have to think about absolutely everything. It didn't help that that interview was coming up, and I had so much riding on that job. I'd make myself feel happier thinking about how if I got it, I could relax. But then I'd think about what would happen if I didn't get it, I was constantly thinking that I wouldn't get it... because there are SO many people applying, I can't even believe I got an interview. :o
I have no qualifications whatsoever for that kind of job. And what REALLY hurts me is the fact that they're not hiring part-time, so I can't work their shifts until finals end. I put that on the application. SO that probably significantly reduced my chance, especially when there are a bunch of qualified applicants who can start working NOW.

I was nervous all damn day. Tapping my nails, shaking my feet, and twirling my hair like a nervous fourteen year old girl going to her first prom  It was pathetic :bucktooth:

But by the time I got to my last class, I was having a real hard time keeping my eyes open. Left with one of those big, red marks on the left side of my face from making a desperate attempt to hold my head up. :paranoid:

Crazy stuff, hmm?

So I did the interview. The woman who did it said that she didn't see any reason why I shouldn't be hired ( :excited: ), but then the woman in the human resources department of the company that handled me said that because I can't start until later, she'd have to put my application as pending. And to call back, and if she had an open position, I'd probably get it :bucktooth:
After I left this afternoon, I found my finals schedule, and managed to put everything together so I could start at a much earlier date, right at the beginning of May... I need to call her back still and tell her.
In any case... they were very friendly :aww:

Anyway... here's the new house.

Things that I like/dislike/notice about it;

ø The whole top level is hard wood floors and stone tile. Cold in the morning, but absolutely FUN when I'm wearing my slippery ballet flats.
ø The crystal-warped window in the shower is amazing. I can shower in the sunrise :P
ø The closet space in my room is A-Mazing.
ø It's so much brighter than my last house. I love brightness, not fond of dark houses.
ø The sun deck is HOT under bare feet in the afternoon :o
ø Not enough cabinet space :shakefist:
ø Despite my earlier statements, I've become quite fond of the wallpaper in my room.
ø There's a gas fireplace and brick inset in the living room :aww:
ø The sun rises right in one of my windows in the morning, and there is a street light in the alley right outside the other one, which creates an amazing, soft glow at night when I leave my curtains open, and it reflects off my floor.
ø In the mornings, and sometimes during the day, I can hear the bells at Sacred Heart Cathedral downtown. Gorgeous.
